Henri Matisse

Henri Matisse, born on December 31, 1869, at Cateau-Cambrésis, France, and deceased on November 3, 1954, in Nice, is a french painter, drawer and sculptor.

He was the leader of fauvism, movement created during the Salon d'Automne of 1905. Matisse's many travels inspired him : Algérie, Italy, Germany, Maroc, Russia, Spane, United-States and Tahiti.
