Peinturama

Ladies and Gentlemen, Peinturama tells how contemporary artists have renewed the plastic arts by taking inspiration from cinema.
It is a dialogue between artists of different generations and a confrontation between American and European painters.
I want to salute Martial Raysse, our painter-director, who continues to inspire us.
Without the talent of Bill Viola, our cinematographer, the exhibition would not be what it is.
Our gratitude goes to Jennifer Douzenel, who directed the shots, and to Paul Pfeiffer who edited the images.
Our gratitude goes to John Baldessari, an editor like no other.
