The 27 painted faces, after the picture of a dissapeared child are living in a different space: nothing is indentical, everything changes and transforms itself.
This portraits series are transforming identity as a no-land, while the child's dissapearing linger on with its invisible and immobile weight, and its gravity's strenght is so strong that we could walk on it, as an anti-earth. It is the meaning that we wanted to give to the ground: the never-ending work of earth, after the expulsion from heaven, guarded by two angles, here Frédéric and Arthur Rimbaud.
Does Art, beyond its informative function which aims to modify our vision of things, have still a direct power on the events, as tragic as they are ? Hard to believe. The fake and scout child lives of this hope.
